Communities across the country are struggling with the opioid crisis. These problems will take years to fix and cost billions of dollars. Obviously, we can’t just wait for these problems to get resolved WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION NOW!
As firefighters, police officers, and paramedics we often see people standing around at an emergency scene – doing nothing – they are called bystanders. The fact is, if we could access this untapped resource and enable bystanders to start first aid BEFORE 9-1-1 Emergency Services arrive it will greatly lessen the impact and severity of injuries and illnesses, reduce hospital visits, and save more lives.
Get Ready is a Canadian first-aid training firm committed to providing essential services and web-based technology solutions. Our team of over 35 professionals includes experts in emergency management, law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, healthcare, and critical care.
To enhance accessibility and responsiveness, we developed Ready FIRST AIDE™, a proprietary web-based platform created by our in-house software developers. Ready FIRST AIDE™ provides instant access to treatment checklists, instructional videos, and critical first-aid guidance. It’s designed to equip bystanders with the knowledge and confidence to take action and provide immediate assistance—before professional help arrives.
