❤️ Heart Disease and Cardiac Arrest touches everyone’s lives. Everyone knows someone in the family, a friend and co-worker, neighbour that has had a heart attack or collapsed and died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest(SCA). Every year in Canada, 60,000 people suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

So what does Sudden Cardiac Arrest exactly mean? Has the heart stopped completely? Is the heart died or is it still working a bit? Does the person still have a pulse or very weak faint pulse or are they pulseless with no pulse able to be felt.

Once the heart stops beating how long does it actually take for the person to die. On TV when bystanders do CPR the victim often wakes after 10-20 seconds of CPR, is this just TV or is this true.
